I guess five past one
in a sparse computer room
counts as a Monday

So here it is, then-
My first post for haiku day
in five-seven-five

Mad day yesterday
Today, whatever- still up,
it counts as today.

Went to Hay-on-Wye
bought book ring rug jazz... grand day.
Oh, and incense sticks.

My room, see. It smells.
You would not believe the shops-
Book shops, ev'ry one.

And each had mad doors
And extra levels and stairs
and shelves upon shelves

upon shelves upon...
the outsides didn't match size
with the rooms inside.

Genius. L Space in Wales.
Then leopard boy found money
and bought us all drinks

"Us"- that's me, bigger
Spike and Mrs and baby
Leopard boy and Cat

Beautiful Welsh views
waterfalls and trees, no rain,
and *mountains*, Gandalf.

Then home for Chai tea
