Jul. 30th, 2004 02:45 amThe moon is amazing tonight.
Going to the moon feels like such a ridiculous concept. Why? Because we can?
The road outside is full of temporarily abandoned funfair rides. They look worryingly skeletal in the moonlight- it's like a Stephen King novel. Not like a Stephen King film, though. It was scary. Actually... maybe I should modify that statement. It was unlike the King films that King has liked. Strange little man.
I have a four year old plaster on my finger. I have not had it on my finger for four years, fret not. I bought them to take to Reading with me, for my very first festival. It has Action Man on it.
Sleep is highly overrated.
My hair is long enough to plait once more. I hate that it grows this fast. Also, my nails. Not long enough to plait- they grow fast. Eew, plaited nails. You people are weird.
It's still dark outside. That's a good part.
Does mean I can't see the cherub on the wall opposite, though.
Computer room staff are bastards.
The security guards have also offered me a job. Do they not realise that I come here for the computers, so getting a job would defeat the object, since I couldn't then use them? Maybe they think I just like it here. Maybe I *should* get a job here. I could live off the coffee machine, hook it up as a drip. I could work and then go on the 'net and then work again. It'd be great.
This building is beautiful.
I wish I had a talent.
I wish I had a brain.
I wish I had a sandwich.
