Ahh, well. The right sort of noxious substance, and the fine-toothed comb you mention, will soon dispatch them.

To cure the problem at the roots, though, you'll have to de-louse the hippy as well. There are natural substances that help as well if the hippy objects to chemicals, but they smell worse, as far as I know.

Oh, poor you. Been there, once or twice my blokey's ex sent his son over completely infested. I swear the bitch must have been blind to miss them. I have a lot of hair and it took *forever* to do!

HRS's little siblings used to bring them home a lot. Tea Tree Oil is the best substance I've found to kill them. If you leave it on long enough, it totally dissolves them, insects, eggs, and all.

I used TTO shampoo and conditioner and left them on for 15 minutes a piece.
