Love is

Flourescent lights
the knowledge that in twenty years, give or take,
I'll need glasses to read this screen.
The pain in my lower back from too much ironing
from too much sitting in computer room chairs
from too many nights without sleep without dreams
(did I ever tell you I dream about you?)
My hands, bright red as the blood tries to warm them.
Neck ache.
Cardiff winters at three in the morning.
And yet still coming back.




I should sleep more often.
