Just realised last night that Stan Shunpike is played by the guy who was Mr Hollom in Master and Commander. I'm quite bizarrely thrilled by that.

I'll be back in Wales tonight, getting a plane kinda late, but at least I have plenty to read. Got the TE Lawrence book, a Patrick O'Brian (can't remember what it's called but it's the one after HMS Surprise), Lucifer #4, and Marcus Aurellius' Meditations. I go to a whole new country and I buy... books. And vodka. Sometimes I wish I weren't quiiiiite so predictable. *g*

Indeed! His name is Lee Ingleby, or something. He was also in Ever After. *cough* Sorry, pop culture geek moment over. :D

Have a safe trip back, love.

Oh yeah, he was... heh. I liked him in that a lot. It was a sweet role instead of a depressing one or a teeny one.

Indeed we must, my dear, especially if you are as fond of alcohol as I am. *g* I'd love to go out for a drink with you sometime, or make you suspicious food and force cider and DVDs upon you, it'd be grand. :D

I will drink you under the table!

Trains take little more than an hour, and a snip at just £12 return.

:D:D:D

I really have no doubt you would. I'm, like, the world's pansiest drinker. It means I'm seriously cheap (not like that, not like THAT) but it's amusing. That said... I totally get drunk quicker but I can last drunk a reasonable amount of time. *g* Sophie was so soberer than me on the phone, but she passed out leik WO. It was rather adorable. *g*
