Lucius assisted Lord Voldemort into his wheeled chair. The dark lord, since winning the war, had changed. Long fingers were no longer spindly, and red eyes were lost in folds of puffy pale flesh. His robes strained at the seams, and the tall Death Eater panted as he attempted to push Voldemort towards the table.

“We appreciate the great sacrifice you make for us, my lord.” The disgust in Malfoy’s voice was almost entirely hidden.

“We must discover all we can, and I’d have no one else risk themselves.”

Voldemort giggled, high and terrible, and licked nutella off his fingers.
