I had a really horrible dream last night. All of my top teeth fell out, in stages so I thought things might be okay, only they weren't. Most of the ones on the bottom were fine, but all the top ones fell out and had huge holes in them. They looked like popcorn and felt like thin china in my mouth, and I remember spitting out blood into the sink.

I'm pretty sure I've read this is s'posed to mean something, but I haven't a clue what. Any ideas?

Apparently it means something like: you feel self-conscious or youre reaching a new phase in life and youre anxious about it..or could mean you need to go to the dentist :P

Im very tired and very not looking forward to my stinky lecture.

BWAHAHAHAHA! I haaaaaave no lectures today. I'm gonna try and get my Evol readings out of the way, and tidy my room. Those're worthy ambitions for the day, no?

And that... kinda makes sense, in context, actually. Ooooooh.

And also your icon is fantasmic.

Lucky biatch. I've been up since 7.30 and been on 3 trains (but paid for none - mwhahahaha). Gonna come back and collapse, methinks.

I've had that dream. I've read that it's supposed to be insecurity or something, but for me it's always been more literal. I'm worried about losing my chalk thin teeth. But I'm always inclined to think these things are very literal.

That's a possibility too, actually. My jaw's been aching lately and I was projecting nightmare scenarios onto something that's probably nothing, as usual, so it might well be that.

Dreams about teeth are supposed to be about change, I think.

Of all the "loss of control/insecurity about something in your life" dreams, the teeth-falling-out one is my least favorite. It's way worse than being rooted to the spot and not being able to run, or being unable to open your eyes all the way, or being unable to dial the correct telephone number, or any of the other hoary ol' favorites. Because the teeth one is so realistic- aren't we all threatened about losing them from the time we're old enough to wet our toothbrushes down to feign having brushed?

I have a friend who dreams about her teeth falling out all the time. She says it makes her feel utterly powerless, which she thinks is the point of the dream. Maybe it's still stuck in the monkey brain from our primitive ancestors who would have needed their teeth not only to eat but to fight as well.

I've never had that one; when my subconscious wants me to feel powerless, it hands me a dream in which everything depends upon my ability to read something (like a phone number or a lock combination) and then makes it impossible for me to read.

I've had very similar dreams now and then for as long as I can remember. Horrid things, but I don't know what they signify.

You're having nightmares, you're having pain in your jaw, and you're having stomach pain and nausea. I'm no expert, but it really sounds to me like you are stressed out to the point that you're having physical manifestations. And at that point, the only thing to do is address the cause of the stress.
