nnyMy posts are getting increasingly scatty, boring, and infrequent of late. This'd be because I can't sleep. I'm getting four hours on a good night, and the rest of the time is spent worrying about having bad dreams, which is kinda tiring in itself. I'm hoping this is a small blip and I'll be back to my fascinating and amusing self in next to no time. Sorry.
Currently reading the Edda. This was going to be a quick read through, brief notes for a character. Bloody thing's annoyingly fascinating.

Have to put off finishing the Mauritius Command again. Speaking of... I'm having a really difficult time with this one. I mean, I have a very limited knowledge of Naval matters, so a lot of what Patrick O'Brian writes about goes over my head, but I can generally pick up what's going on through context, and the stories are interesting enough to keep me enthralled. This one, I can't seem to get into at all. This is my third attempt at reading it, and I don't know if it's the book that's harder or if my concentration levels have changed. Hmm.
Also? I'm considering sending an email to my lecturer arguing about the implications of stone tools used by Homo erectus. I'm so not clever/well read enough to start this, but I have niggling little ideas that won't go away. She won't hate me for being presumptuous, right?
