Rami? Selkie? Was it you that put the enormous grin on my face this morning? I've been smiling like an idiot all day, thank you. So much. *squishes* Much love, to both of you.

In other news, I want sea shanties and pirate songs. I've decided to make a CD for the ferret, and I need sea shanties and pirate songs. My collection so far is PITIFUL, consisting as it does of 'the mariner's revenge song' by the decemberists, and 'captain hampton and the midget pirates' by the aquabats. I'm pretty much guaranteed to have some more somewhere, if I actually take the time to search my CD collection, but any suggestions will be welcomed.

Life is... uneventful. Poor. My friend came over and drank wine at me last night, which considering the generosity wasn't so bad, but a little hard to make out since his stutter gets worse with every mouthful of wine. I also watched an anime (see? I can be taught) called Castle in the air, which had a bad guy marvellously voiced by Mark Hamill who was the bastard lovechild of Crowley and Aziraphael. He was all suits and cravats and poufy blond hair, with sunglasses and yellow eyes. And psycho-crazy-evil, too. Aah, it was great.

I have a ridiculous amount of bunnies which desire to be written, but I'm just not feeling clearminded enough right now. There are two options from here. I could either a) stop drinking and see if I can write, or b) drink cider and write drunk!fic. I have yet to decide.

This is Flogging Molly, Seven Deadly Sins. (http://s13.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=24FKBXXUA5H850RPHYWNEFVBNB) They both are pirate-themed songs.

:-/ I wish I could say it was us, but considering our suckitude in not having been to the post yet (it opens after I leave for work, and closes before I get home - where's the sense in that?) we have not yet sent you your goodies. :(

I am glad that somebody made you so happy, though. *swings you around*

*loves on you liek wo*

My computer is not letting me upload them, but if you can find The Last Saskatchewan River Pirate by the Arrogant Worms, it is a brilliant pirate song complete with "arrrr, ye salty dog!" Also, Rant and Roar by Great Big Sea is a sea-shanty type thing with, um, ranting and roaring and other piratical behaviour.
