I'm morbidly fascinated by it. I may never post, as I'm not that good at making my disgruntlement funny, but back when I worked at a restaurant during my first year at Wellesley, oh, sheesh. That town is very wealthy, and the restaurant was upscale, and boy did some of them have entitlement issues. There's a reason I quit when I got that summer internship last year at Beacon Press. I also worked in a restaurant for my last two years of high school, and it was this scary sort of family-owned oversized diner place. I was a hostess/cashier, and I stayed out of the kitchen as much as possible, because OMG, scary kitchen. I guess I should just be grateful I'm no longer working there. I remember trying to have actual conversations with my co-workers, which very rarely worked because the other hostesses were some of the real ditzes in my graduating class, and the line cooks just wanted to hit on us. The customers were actually a relief.
