nnyGonna be AFK from tomorrow until er... probably Tuesday. Going to WOMAD festival to be all steward-y and run around in a flourescent tabard.
Smaller has passed on a stomach bug to Jock Jock and meself, which is lovely... I'm hoping I feel better tomorrow, because stomach bug and festival toilets... could be sincerely not pretty. I need to go shopping tomorrow for all the sensible things - torch, noodles, suncream and the like. I haven't been to a festival in about four years, so this is gonna be novel. My dad's going on the Friday, apparently, so I'm hoping I'll have time off to speak to him - as far as I know it's three 8 hour shifts between Thursday and Monday, for which I get a free ticket to the festival and feeding, a meal for every shift. Not Bad. And Smaller and I have a five man tent to share, which means we get a bedroom each. Heh. And Bigger's coming too, and her blokey is giving us a lift in his landrover.
Starting to get excited, now. XD
So yeah - I'm around for a bit now, doing application forms and the like, so any random comment chatter would be much appreciated. Sad as it sounds, even only for five days... I'm gonna miss you guys! Also, anyone with more recent festival experience than me, reminders of what I'm gonna need'd be appreciated.
