Sep. 19th, 2005 07:31 amI'm behind on the memes I've been tagged for. Damn.
Okay.
Dammit. Only five? *whines*
I'm not going to do the obvious, and pick Crowley or Aziraphale. They are among my favourite fictional characters of All Time HOMG, but in my head they are such a unit that it's impossible to seperate them. Slasher or no, they belong to one another. So. My five:
1. Daniel Osbourne, BtVS

Oz is just coolness personified. He's laconic, very intelligent, and an utterly adorable boyfriend. The Pez witch! Okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time... It'd eventually get frustrating, the monosyllabic mode of speech, but if it's just a shag? Hell, yeah.
2. A Knight's Tale's Chaucer

There had to be one Paul Bettany character, and Chaucer is arguably one of the more sane. He's erudite and poetic, takes things very much in stride, and is utterly unselfconscious when naked. Which is just such a great character trait. (See Mal, in Firefly. XD) I would, however, worry that he'd shout "GOD, I'm good," after.
3. The Marquis de Carabas, Neverwhere.

The Marquis just is sex. It's difficult to explain. I haven't seem the TV series yet, so my character picture is entirely formed by the book and... he's like Crowley. Very much like Crowley. And he lounges. And he snarks. And... just GUH.
4. Captain Jack Sparrow

*eyes picture* I'm sorry, you need more explanation than that?
5. Gainel, the Immortals Series

Little piddly picture. *grins* I don't know why I imagine Gainel as Rufus, but I just do. Nor do I know why he's so hot. There's just something about silent characters.
This, of course, only applies today. Tomorrow I'll have changed my mind, as ever.
Tagging whoever wants it. :D
