"It was very warlike, the body was very warlike, but the eyes- they were telling a different story. Body warlike, eyes... like the eyes of an old Russian lady, who'd seen too much. An old Russian lady... with her arm caught in a loom. And big sailors would walk past and go "hhhallo" and she'd go "No, not hallo, my arm, it is in a loom." And they'd go "yes, hallo" and she'd go "No, not hallo, it's gone maroon. My arm, it is in a loom." And they'd go "yes, hallo" and she'd go "No, not hallo" and in the end she'd have to pick up the two ton loom and walk and follow them home and knock on their front windows and they'd be going "oh you're scaring me a little bit now." That was what the eyes were like. Dangerous, but beautiful at the same time."

Silly music.

Hot tea in beautiful, fragile little gold-leafed cups. Going barefoot over lush grass -- or in the very fringe of the waves on a beach. Kicking the jellyfish that stung you. A cat walking down my back. Getting off work early on the most beautiful day of the week. New fic-fragments appearing in my brain. Finding something truly rec-worthy. Choral music. Especially when it is old fashioned, dusty, and German. When the sopranos hit that perfect C, with an alto and bass harmony, and the moving tenor part. When you can just lay your head back against the theatre seat, hear, and just be.

"You egg!"

Dogwoods in bloom and the smell of honeysuckle.

That sudden snow and when you can shout 'IT STICKS!'.

You and your angel and your tweed.

Warm clothes from the dryer right when you've gotten out of the shower on a cold day.
