Money requested for birthday. Shall have to get a big jar and label it MILLICON in large, friendly letters. Because I've spent money from birthday for the past few years on rent, and there is no way I'm going to do it again. There are things I need to pay for, but there are always things I need to pay for. Birthdays are definitely on the other side of the need/want line.

I wasn't paid enough last month, so I'm getting a couple of months pay at once at the end of this, which is excellent in terms of christmas. Perhaps I may even do (GASP) cards, this year. I may even get my tax back, which should be at least £100. I will be bloody ROLLING in it. Heh. It's gonna be reeeeally weird.

I'm still really grumpy, but knowing that it's not about anything kind of makes it okay. I mean, I feel better, slightly, because nothing's majorly wrong and I know things'll improve. But still, be glad you're on the other end of the internet.

Hee. My dad saved up to by my mom's engagement ring by saving money in a jar. (They were impoverished college students.) He painted flowers all over it -- sorta looks like it was done by a five-year-old. It's still on the shelf in our library. :D
