Dec. 5th, 2005 12:21 pmDear Neil Gaiman,
I claim Brian in the name of Milliways. However, you may continue to play with Aziraphale and Crowley.
Yours,
Nny
(who is not you)
This weekend Ferret stayed, and randomly on Saturday night my big and beardy friend got confused over the date of my birthday, and turned up with curry and wine a week early. Much feasting was had by all, much wine was had by... mostly me, actually... and all was fun times. I think I am going to end up ostracized for my playlist, though, possibly.
Yesterday was spent wandering around in my pyjamas, writing a story and roleplaying some absolutely delightful threads, and it was an utterly superb day. I love the fact that time off now is time off, not time off with various hanging readings, essays and suchlike to be getting on with. There are things I should be doing, of course, like tidying my room before Thursday, when I'm going back to Southampton; there are always things I should be doing. Yesterday was my day.
So, yes. Thursday I'm going back to Southampton, so I can spend a couple of days and the morning of my birthday with the family - my little sister G has been doing nothing but nag just lately, so I feel obliged to go home and opress her a little. Then on Saturday I'll probably be on the internet through most of the middle of the day, when I'm not making curry -
malachan,
djcati, when are you turning up? And then there will be much curry and drunkness in the evening. Therefore, there will probably also be an exceedingly badly spelled birthday post at some point.
Sunday is reserved for hangover.
And then Monday, another day off which hopefully should be spent Christmas shopping, and back to work on Tuesday.
Yup.
Pretty damned good weekend in order.

Date: 2005-12-05 04:39 am (UTC)I think I will have to deprive the Internet of a badly spelled birthday post, as I am having my party a few days earlier and won't be having any alcohol, and the night before the day itself my family is taking me out to dinner. With much decorum and, sadly, a lack of grand pissups :D

Date: 2005-12-05 05:27 am (UTC)Apparently, I arrive in Cardiff at 6.15pm on Saturday, having got on the bus in London at 3pm. Any earlier bus was probably at a ridiculously early time, i.e., before 1pm...
:D
