It's not preening, it's sharing the things which make your rewarding. If the kids are saying that, then you have every right to be proud. You should be.
My life right now is a combination of new bedding (pillows! goose down mattress cover!) and much pain. Tonight we worked on turning to skate backwards and a certain type of stop which means standing on tip-toe... the toe which was assaulted by a spiky table leg. It is unhappy.
