I am a whore for this meme.

Ask me any question and I'll answer it - it doesn't matter how personal, political, sexual, controversial, rude or ridiculous it is. You can also ask me something obvious that you don't know or have forgotten (what's your age, what's your job/what are you studying, etc).

Anon is fine.

I think I talk too much for this meme ever to be successful, of course. I mean, what don't you know?

*thinks*

If you had the choice between happiness and a superskill that would make the world better, what would you choose?

And this is important. :D Favourite icecream flavour?

Superskill absolutely. Even if I were happy I'd find some way to ruin it for myself sooner or later.

Superskill versus contentment? That'd be harder.

Nonspecific brand, mint choc chip.

Specific, Co-op's bramley apple and cinnamon with biscuit pieces. Bloody hell.

You?

Holy shit flight, especially if I get Angel's bloody gorgeous wings.

Invisibility I've got down.

Absolutely totally and completely for. I think it's marvellous. Wouldn't get by without it, since I don't have any sex.

Who else is going to know what feels best?

I haven't actually seen enough of them, or them often enough. I will say Aladdin, since that's about the only one I own, although I make this choice with the note that I haven't seen Emperor's New Groove.

That said, there is soft spot in my heart for Anastasia, purely for John Cusack's voice NUM.

Dumb question: What's your name/what you like to be called in public?

Less dumb question: Who told you that you talk too much? And where, given a choice of all the places in the multiverse, would you most like to end up?

Being called Nny in RL gives me a happy. (Nny as in the Knights Who Say. Neil Gaiman Ni'd at me for a while. It was one of my more spontaneously orgasmic moments, I confess.) As well as being short for Villainny, 'tis short for Bethany, so there are also many who call me Beth. Only one who really calls me Bethany is me mam.

No one specifically told me I talk too much, not since I was about 4. I just automatically assume when I don't get any response that people are just quietly facepalming and embarrassed on my behalf that I'm talking way too much.

I am a huge wibbling mass of insecurities.

And seriously? Hay on Wye. When I'm old and full of sleep. :D

Oh! I'd been referring to you as "Nuh-nee". Or occasionally "Ah-ni", which sounds a good deal like I'm going to sneeze. NI! Neil Gaiman said that Derek was a cool name. :)

Silly! Surely they aren't saying anything because, perhaps, they can't think of anything to say other than IAWTC? Which gets a bit repetative after a while.

Hay! Hay is wonderful. Would you own a bookshop or merely start collecting a private library? (I think personally I'd want to be somewhere outside of England - I love this country dearly but I have this aversion to the cold which makes it an unihabitable nightmare for many months of the year. South of France FTW, man)

Whereas I love the cold. I'd rather be cold than hot because it's easier to do something about it. That said, I'm awfully tempted to take a notebook and go sit in the park and pretend like I'm writing whereas in actual fact I'm really just enjoying the sunshine oh baby yeah. *takes a breath* I'd love to have a bookshop. What my dream is is to have a bookshop in an old church because it'd be big enough to have a cafe and open mic nights, and all. That would rock quite supremely.

And you are far too nice to me.

I had pretty much exacty this conversation with a friend today. She told me when it's cold you can put more clothes on, but if you're hot there's only so much you can take off before you get arrested. Stupid social taboos. I'm happiest with heat when I don't have to do anything, so if I retire/end up somewhere it can be somewhere hot as I intend to do very little besides read, drink tea and nice wine, and be tended to by my harem. Failing a harem I shall have to find a -

PBBT. I don't do nice. Just honest.

- a minion?

I have minions to spare. They have icons (http://www.livejournal.com/userpic/35503095/839351) and everything.

Ah, thank you kindly but I appear to have quite a few minions of my own. And some of them are even NOT sixteen.

I was thinking more of a piratical, woman-sharing partnership with a suitable first mate, really. ;) Although that's far into the distant and unthinkable future and I'm sort of hoping there will be a few adventures in between. Because the sun has, apparently, turned the contents of my head to over-romanticising MUSH.

Are there any songs that turn you on? I mean that literally. See, "Long View" by Green Day actually gets me hot, which is rediculous because it's a song about being bored to the point of masturbation ("bite my lip and close my eyes/ take me away to paradise" TOTALLY GETS ME HOT, WTF).

So, yes. Any songs that turn you on?
