Hmm. I don't know what to have for dinner. I have... couscous, both flavoured and not, vegetable rice inna packet, rice, pasta and spicy pepper pasta sauce (which I had last night), tuna, lentils, eggs, potatoes, cheese...

*potters off to check*

...korma sauce, jelly, peanut butter, marmalade, muesli, chopped tomatoes, gravy, stir fry sauce, spaghetti hoops, beetroot, a bit of a melon, cherry tomatoes, sandwich pickle, and pineapple juice. Oh, and bread. And ryvita.

One of these days I will learn to make a shopping list.

Help?

Also, extra userpics dying in a few days, so take 'em while I got 'em, unless they're by [livejournal.com profile] schiarire 'cos those are MINE. Otherwise credit where I've credited, suchlike and so forth.

HAHAHAHA YES! I JUST FOUND A CAN O' CHILLI! ROCK ON!

...potatoes in the korma sauce over the couscous, with the cherry tomatoes on top after you've cooked them a few minutes with a bit of salt and pepper and garlic. *nods*

You could also do a Spanish tortilla thing with the eggs, the potatoes (boiled and thinly sliced), and the cheese, with tuna thrown in if you liked.

Sorry. I love to do Door Knock Dinners for people.

Don't apologise! You've just ensured I will eat a hell of a lot more interestingly than usual for the next couple of nights, at least.

*beamy hugs*

What's a Door Knock Dinner?

It's either when people knock on your door, bearing ingredients, and you make them dinner based on what they brought to your house plus what you already had (no advance warning or planning allowed, so if all the guests bring tinned olives you probably make a puttanesca sauce); or you knock on someone else's door and are compelled to make dinner with just what they have on hand. It's fun!

I am doing a milliways thread that HAS TO BE DONE before I leave and I've been promising to do for over a month. I suck so hard.

And man, your JRM icons are so bloody distracting, damn you.

And I should write, shouldn't I? I'm just askeered I'll get it wrong. *sulks*

Hey, you're doing it, though. :) So you're not sucking, just delayed.

Heeee. They are that. They are that.

The wonderful thing about writing is that you can rewrite, edit, edit, rewrite or start all over again if you're not happy with it. As I am slowly discovering.
