Apparently England is on 'critical alert' right now. I just woke up and I got to tell you, I ain't feelin' it. A plot was foiled to blow up planes, so now there's no hand luggage allowed and we're being told not to travel unless it's necessary. Mahvellous. I mean, really, we so totally needed another reason to be isolationist and xenophobic. How will Tony cope without George for so long, though? Only time can tell.

My mum seemed to be getting inordinately stroppy about this, which it took me a moment or two of waking up to actually process - I kind of forgot that my little sister G is away in Morrocco (however you spell it, I'm not awake) right now. There probably won't be any problems by the time she comes home, I just hope she's not watching the news and fretting.

Oh, and the parting in my hair switched sides overnight. I blame the terrorists. Or possibly Harrison Ford.

ETA: One thousand, one hundred and thirty seven pounds and sixty two pence. The sixty two pence is very important.

My tax finally came back.

:D!!!

AAARRRRGH. The non-bankruptcy-inducing tickets to D*C that I was about to book would send me through Gatwick. Excessive security (for me, and for the erstwhile handluggage I would now have to check in) would result in both me and said luggage missing connecting flight, since there's only two hours or something on the ground.

AUGUST IS SO FIRED.

EEP! I so hope everything will be better by... next Thursday? Pretty please?

And does well to blame Harisson Ford.

I'm pretty sure they'll cater for it, sweet. If the tickets are still available, go for it.

Yet another massive British event that I slept through! I dreamt about pricing anitques. This = more interesting than more bollocking about terrorists. *Has been reading the Guardian*

Yay!

(does this mean that I may get the card back soon? I don't mean to bug, but it's got a bunch of money on it, and if you can't mail it, I'll have them deduct $5 and send me a new one, but that takes forever and a yeeeeeeeeear and I don't really have the time to keep buying more metro cards. :-/)

OMG U ARE RICH!! :D!!

And about time, too. 62p equals rich PLUS chocolate, I think. Critical for keeping things in perspective.

Sorry about the critical alert. It is undoubtedly Harrison's fault, along with the hair parting issue. He is everywhere.

Yes, my younger sister who is flying in the states right now is, I'm sure, not pleased by the flight thingy. Seeing as the critical alert in the UK has trickled down (over?) to the US airlines not allowing any liquids to be carried on (damn exploding toothpaste). Thus, the security lines are UNREAL. It is so silly.

And yay money!

Tony and George are totally boinking.

That is all.

And August is totally fired. Possibly sued for... I dunno. Let's say public indecency. That sounds nice and legal.
