nnyMy love for Stephen Maturin is great and spoogey. Not as enormously spoogey as Jack's, but. Y'know. I do my best.
I've decided I want a hammock. We have a marvellous second lawn to put it on, a tree to put it under, and a lovely pond and stream arrangement that would accessorise it nicely. I think I'll look into how much they are.
(Yes. Expensive. I know. Isn't everything?)
I also need a new monitor. It clicks ominously and wobbles. It's preparing to commit suicide at some really significant moment, I can just tell, the bastard.
Head clearing up somewhat. I've done nothing but drink water all morning. Drink water and squeak at my TV and the enormous amount of dorky squee that is Paul Bettany as Stephen. I don't think it's possible to top this film for me, right now, but somehow I forget how utterly in love with it I am to the extent that I forget to watch it for a few months. And then, every time, I'm gobsmacked anew.
