Sigur Ros, this morning, and ponderings about whether there's slash fanfic which admits that men are just crap at kissing, frankly. This is why I will never get aggravated about bi-curious tendencies in college-age girls, because it allowed for much good kissing without it being a prelude to anything else, and I really love kissing. However, I have kissed about three times as many blokes as I have girls, I suspect, and have yet to come across more than about two of them as can kiss decently. Take a look at gay porn, someday. I think the crapness of the kissing was actually a pretty big turn-off for me, along with the obvious playing-to-camera part. This is possibly a factor of why I like fanfic - it's (generally) a more private thing. And yet the strange thing, of course, is that despite my honesty with myself and knowledge that men can very rarely kiss well, in my experience, and must be trained, a long build-up followed by a well-written kiss will do more for me than the majority of PWPs.

And I refuse to be late for work due to writing about kissing, so I'd best be off; I might add to this later. Apologies for the rambliness - it's morning, I cannot be blamed.

Okay, we need to make out because I really want to know if I'm a good kisser or not. I'll shave and everything!

I...am still kind of un-wowed by kissing in general, and not sure if it's me or the people I've kissed.

I mean. It's all sloppy. And I don't think my boy is a particularly sloppy kisser, I just think the whole process in real life and not idle musings/fic where you can ignore reality you don't want strikes me as...just kinda sloppy.

Sloppiness is something which can be changed. It is not a necessary part of kissing that it is sloppy... I mean, obviously there is exchange of saliva and therefore it is sloppy to an extent, but that extent can be controlled.

>:D Keep practising.

Yeah. I, like, still prefer close-mouthed kisses because otherwise there's still part of me going "EWW SOMEONE ELSE'S SALIVA. IN MY MOUTH."

*is five*

So I keep telling myself it'll get better with practice and hoping that's actually true. >.>
