Hair loss is not fun. For the record.

*sighs and makes another doctors appointment*

Good stuff that has happened today:

- I've applied to go on a one day course in London - "inclusivity in the classroom for the deaf learner". I had to justify why I wanted to do it and how it supports the college's aims and values, it was very odd. I hope they decide to spare the money to send me, 'cos £235 and I'm really not going it alone.

- I have spare blocks on my timetable, and my boss seemed very receptive to the possibility of me supporting individual students outside of class in those spaces; helping foreign students and english students without particular writing strength with laying out essays, sentence structure and the like. It'll look good on my CV, and I reckon it'll be fun. Plus it'll make me feel a hell of a lot more useful than just wandering around a classroom, peering over people's shoulders and getting the piss taken of me.

- I'm starting with the tutoring thing tomorrow. W00t money!

- I ordered my mp3 player, so soon I will have the space on my computer to reload AIM. OMG conversation!

- I finished reading Temeraire; yes, I will be buying the other two on Saturday. ♥!

Also my coat looks bloody awesome on me. I looove eeet.

Must bugger off now - much to do, much as usual. I'll be around for hours yet on email, though, should anyone want me. :D

Have you had a blood test to check your thyroid levels? I ask, as last year I initially had a very very very high (off the record) thyroid level and so had treatment to "kill off" my thyroid. As part of the consequence of that I lost over half of my hair, had the most horrendous periods, huge stomach pains, and various other problems.

Even to rule it out, it's worth asking for a blood test. Seriously.

You're losing your hair? You know, apparently hair has a three month cycle: can you look back three month and find some sort of traumatic even at that time?

*stares at calendar* Like travelling to the United States and Canada? What on earth did we do to you?
