dopplegl had written an enormously successful book about drugs and decadence and self destruction, and I was really quite jealous, and everyone was dressing in amazing vintage weirdnesses, and the bloke from the Guardian who wanted to interview Caleb was also running around trying to chat me up at the same time. Like, actually thought I was attractive.
