Jan. 26th, 2007 09:40 amI think I might be dropping down to four days work a week for the next month, since I'm actually taking a day off a week due to not being able to cope with the weather and arthritis. I think this is the best plan, I think this is a pain in the arse for my finances, and I think my mother's going to kill me.
Possibly I won't tell her. ¬_¬
What is the best plan, you reckon?
Oh, and everyone who's emailed me lately? I will be getting back to you soon. Thank you, so much.

Date: 2007-01-26 09:57 am (UTC)Babe-you know what I'm going to say. If dropping down to four days will help then do it. Your health so much more important than anything else.
Finances are a total bitch-but you've coped before and you'll cope now. It's not as though you are lazy! As you say, you are only doing that time frame at the moment so this just makes it official.
Your mum will understand.

If you're only able to put in 4 days/week now, this simply removes the guilt factor. Removing the guilt factor is Good For You.
Would you be getting an extended weekend each week? Or a nice break mid-week? Either has its appeal ...
A month is a good length for a trial of how this works, but ultimately a short length of time in the Grand Scheme of Things. I'm sure you can manage, with a little help from friends and family. ;]
