I have decided to name my computer Radek. Mostly this is because the little 'update computer now!' and 'google desktop updating' popups are far less irritating if you imagine that they're in a Czech accent. The thing that's enamored me of him the most so far is the fact that he is silent, pretty much. After the amount of humming that came from Crowley, this is seriously bliss. I might even be able to download things and nap at the same time!

Speaking of downloading, I already have an interview with David Hewlett, the new SG:A, and a (probably bad) Joe Flanigan film called Thoughtcrimes to watch. Radek is my new social life. (And that sentence makes me happier than it ought. XD) I'll also be installing AIM and so on and so forth very shortly, so I may be bouncing at you in fairly short order.

At the moment, though, I'm revising the key stages, the English National Curriculum (as in for English, not for England) and a few of the recent developments in Education and what I think about 'em. Got an interview at the University of Bath tomorrow, see, for my Post Graduate Certificate of Education course.

I should warn you that it's very slow in the start. The first half hour or so is a bit boring, but it really picks up once Joe comes in and the story starts proper.

I liked Thoughtcrimes well enough. Disappointed that it's a movie and not a two-hour tv show pilot, actually. Because it rly plays like that.

YAAAAAAAAAAAY! Yes, I'm still bouncing from last night. Damn this psychotic end-of-January work schedule; I have to go in at the regular time but I won't be finished until 8pm, halfway across town. I glare in the general direction of timezones. Which are EVERYWHERE. Insidious. Possibly I should send covert emails instead.

Are you on any kind of chat program yet? Cos I'd totally spend a little time with you if you want, to talk about that interview -- I have my own interviews, as a future teacher, coming up in two weeks, and I had a long talk yesterday with a school director who gave me VERY useful tips to be really well prepared for that sort of interview.

Now, of course, if you'd rather relax and chill and NOT talk about that, fair enough. :D But you know. I can give you tips if you want. Just let me know. :)
