Day gets better from here on in
Feb. 27th, 2007 09:08 amApparently BSG supplies nasty dreams. I got halfway through the miniseries last night, and it really weren't the greatest place to stop - probably would have slept better if I'd kept going and slept in later, but I'm wary of messin' with my sleep schedule because I'm incapable of dealing with life enough as is. XD
I do love the look of it so far, though - not talking any story elements, because spoilers is rude, yo, but aesthetically it's a damned fine show. Really interesting lighting, camera angles and the like, and the music is... it's odd. It's not what I would have chosen, not what the majority of like shows go for, and as a result it's more interesting and I actually notice/appreciate it. Not in a way that takes me out of the story though. So, y'know, cool. I have the first series on DVD too, so I reckon I'll get started on that tonight. Traders can wait for a bit, since I'm already on the third series of it an' all.
I'm currently minding an IT class - they've been given their work and told that I'm really not overly stressed about what they get up to so long as some progress is demonstrated by the end of the lesson. It's fun, how much screwing around on the internet looks like work. And me? I've got me a computer and a hankering for some happy, so I'm gonna read
sheafrotherdon's Farm in Iowa series and possibly make some notes for the ridiculous amount of SG:A stories I have bunnies for.
