I have decided to put some of my "clippings" here. Eventually, these will join up to some kind of coherent whole, but right now it's just loadsa fun to do. If anyone should be blamed, it's
ladykardasi. =)
"The loss of Death Eaters' frontman Severus Snape and the recent collaboration with Slytherin Six appears to have sent the band careening onto an entirely different path. They have never been a band to blend into the background, but new album "Unforgivable", with its track listing including songs titled "F*** the Mudbloods" and "Av*** Ked****", seems designed to provoke an extreme reaction.
Society for Muggle/Wizard Relations chairman, Arthur Weasley, called the album "...a disgrace. I work hard to inform the Wizarding world about the amazing magic substitutes the Muggles have come up with, to try and educate them and improve Muggle-Wizard relations. Things like this album, especially coming from such a popular wizarding band, can set my work back fifty years."
Asked to comment on this, Voldemort (AKA Tom Riddle, producer of the Death Eaters) stated that "...Arthur Weasley is a Muggle-loving fool with no proper Wizarding pride." He also mentioned plans to rename the band "Voldemort's Death Eaters", and a proposed permanent merger with the Slytherin Six.
"We're just waiting for contract details to be sorted, but it looks like it's pretty much in the tea-leaves," a record company insider reliably informed us.
Lucius Malfoy, lead guitarist with the Death Eaters, is all for the plans.
"Snape held us back for years," the blonde declared, a statement that may alienate fans of the reclusive frontman. "The new, improved Death Eaters can tell it like it really is."
Severus Snape was unavailable for comment."
