nnyI'm currently engaged in a big room sort out thing, since I'm moving out again in (fingers crossed) about a month and I have so much crap it's unbelievable. And I need to make more space for books.
I've finally given in on most of the clothes I've been vaguely dieting towards for years; it's depressing to think about how long I've been - in my estimation - too fat, and most of the clothes just aren't me anyway. It's kind of a poverty thing, I think, with the careful storing of every last thing in case some day they'll be useful. I'm starting to get myself together with money, lately, and it's far better that they scuttle off to a charity shop where they can help someone else out. Two big carrier bags full, and now I have way too much space in my wardrobe and chest of drawers.
My underwear drawer, or at least the contents thereof, is currently splayed out all over my bed. It's depressing how few pairs of pants I have that aren't cotton and sensible and from M&S; someday I will get over my fear of underwear shopping and (good god man) possibly even get a bra that fits. XD
There're other things I should be sorting too, but I'm avoiding it, since logic tells me that I really ought to get rid of most of it; logic really oughtn't to have anything to do with Sanchez the fluorescent orange ninja, or posters of bands I loved in college, or the fluffy puffin mum bought me to prove that I am cute.
Point of the post, though, is this pair of shoes:
I feel I ought to get rid of them since I rarely wear them due to their being fastened with velcro and absurdly easy to fall out of. Especially when drunk.
ETA: for the record, like the majority of my wardrobe, these shoes look a hell of a lot better on. Plus they make me, like, seven feet tall! *bounces*
