Jun. 18th, 2007 03:02 pmI am actually incapable of going to town and not buying books. I didn't even go in to Oxfam, initially, only they'd put a book I wanted in the bloody window. Devious bastards. I was intending to go to the newsagents and the post office only - damn, but sending postcards is inexplicably expensive - but it turned out you only got the free J-Flan DVD thing in WHSmiths so I had to trundle all the way down town. On the up side, town is where the Starbucks lives, which NOM NOM NOM chai tea latte.
Oh, the book was The Interpretation of Murder, by the way, which as far as I can figure is about Sigmund Freud fighting crime. :D!
Also I am sadly beyond all hope. I saw a bloke dressed in black, wearing sunglasses, walking along beside a man in a most deplorable jumper and little spectacles. The bespectacled one was pushing a small child in a buggy, and my first immediate thought was OMG GOOD OMENS MPREG!
