So they have this advert on Classic FM -

- no. Wait. I'm going to have to go back a little further for this one.

I listen to Classic FM at work. I told my mother this earlier and she laughed at me and told me I was strange. ("No, it's good though! I'm proud. It's just what I wanted.") But I figure the thing about Classic FM is that it's really quite deliberately inoffensive; if I like something, that's wonderful, and I have a page or two in the back of my notebook, filled with composers that I really need to check out. And if I don't like something, it's generally something that I can just ignore for a while until something else I like comes on. Like Eric Whitacre, which they played for me. :D

This is not a general working principle for my life, you know, I mean I'd rather have extremes of emotion generally, it's just that I get so very frustrated with the inputting that I'm doing eight hours a day that I fear if I heard too much bad music I'd actually snap and eat someone's head. And I quite like the girl next to me. So yeah, I listen to Classic FM at work.

They have this advert on Classic FM, though, and it lists off a whole bunch of imaginary programs - the point being that it's about time you started living your life rather than watching shit TV, and an excellent way to do that is to take a test drive in their new... Renault. Yeah.

Anyway, the programs they list are

- celebrity antique hunt

- celebrity spear fishing

- celebrity civil war reenactment

and

- extreme celebrity brass rubbing revisited!





I would totally stay in to watch these shows.
