The awesomeness that is today

nny- Whoever gave me Mimi LaValley and 100 Nuns, I salute you. Seriously.
- I have a spider in my room called Accidentally Apple because I misheard![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
soupytwist calling her Ethel
- I have named all the craneflies in the uni accommodation Sweetpea (and there are a lot)
- I HAVE FIXED MY IPOD
- One of my coursemates has lent me The Ladies of Grace Adieu
- There are frequently rabbits, squirrels, magpies and now deer outside my bedroom window
- one of these deer is called John Sheppard and the reasons for this are twofold. Firstly, he has some awesomely spiky antlers, there. Secondly, he walked face first into a branch and then looked around all 'dude, military commander. Nothing to see here.'
- last night I ran into a lady of somewhat Advanced Age called Maureen and we had a wide ranging discussion covering religion, the narrow focus of the word 'relationship', the many and varied jobs she's had, the teaching of the english language and teaching in general. It's nice to prove to myself that I bain't so stupid as I look. :D
- it would appear I have finally been given my student loan, which means that I can definitely go across and meetindy_go and tropes, finally. Provided they still want me. Which is... just whole worlds of squee, right there.
Things're looking up, kids.
