Oct. 12th, 2007 02:39 pmWill most likely be out of touch this weekend unless the landlord sees fit to sort out our internet. Eventually.
Taught my first lesson today, feedback generally exceeding positive.
Maaajorly behind on paperwork. Hence probable quietude. Mostly.
Tonight I think I may buy myself a bottle of wine and lay down a lot because my back is killing me. Will probably watch Doppelganger again; the past couple of days have been SG:A recapping days. Mental note to watch the return 1&2 and the Ark, all of which I've only seen once.
Might get around to Trinity again, too, since I've only managed to watch it once. It upsets me!
Oh! And! I bought myself The History Boys, Wimbledon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and er... something else for cheapness. May well watch one of those, too. Oh! Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, that was it.
Er... brain rather obviously offline. I'll see y'all next week.

I'm saving old SGA eps for very very rainly can't move days and you know? I've never seen um...the one where John is trapped with Teer? Ummmmmm you know, that one. In which we discover that JFlan is a much hairier dude than we might have previously thought.
Have a nice rest. Hope no one comes by wearing stilettos or anything. Because ow.

Date: 2007-10-12 02:16 pm (UTC)(I'm living with all these new people and they're all so grand but at the same time we're still establishing guidelines about who can borrow what and which things need permission first. I'm torn between being annoyed with some over getting asked All The Time about really simple things, and being annoyed because someone's used ALL MY PANS AGAIN and not washed 'em. XD)
I know the feeling with the raininess and the not moving; it always made my arthritis so much worse, and while I'm actually seeming so much better I still ache when it rains. Do you need any things to watch or whatever? I have various Hewlett things on mah computer if you want 'em burnt to disk and sent, love. What I used to do when I was really bad and didn't want to watch TV (:O!) was play with this colouring/drawing book my sister got me for Christmas. I couldn't hold a pencil well so I had trouble staying between teh lines, but there's something so pleasing about acting five again.
You haven't seen that episode? But one of my favourite fics is based on it! Le Gasp! And and and omg John's issues. I love John's issues. They make for such awesome fic.

Date: 2007-10-12 03:39 pm (UTC)Darling, Ny, aren't you in Bath? Wouldn't it cost a forturne to mail me disks?? (Do you have Treed Murray? No no, shh, Bead) Seriously. Wouldn't it?
My Mom is coming next week and the house is...still a construction zone. I'm gathering people to help clean (My mother in law, my husband, who is exhausted from work and from taking care of me through a very bad two month spell where I've had trouble doing the simplest things, my cleaning lady who is having too much fun with her grandbaby and realllly doesn't want to work)
I've asked a couple of other people but they've turned me down, which stings more than it should because it was so hard to ask. I really, if I'm going to be this incapacitated (it's been a bad 9 months) this long, or hopefully only slightly longer, I'm going to have to get over it.
That coloring book idea sounds awesome. I used to do that when I was a kid. There was a woman who drew this beautiful doll like women in period gowns - small poster size, really 11"x17" and my mother would buy them for us when we were on vacation and we would color them on rainy days. I loved those so much. When I was little, I used to draw dresses and ball gowns and such, but I couldn't really draw people well, so I just put the cleavage in.
Well I know the angst of someone borrowing your things. My college roommate borrowed some of my pants and washed them and they were dry clean only. She also borrowed a very expensive dress of mine that was a gift and got something on it. She was banned after that. Grrrr. She was from Alabama and her name was Shee Shee (for Shelia) and she was the biggest Drama Queen.
