Random ponderings
Aug. 13th, 2003 12:45 pmPlease bear in mind that I haven't read either of these books in a while. However...
I was considering that of Jack London's books, Sirius would prefer Call of the Wild, and Remus would read White Fang (and most likely correct it in places).
Call of the Wild concerns a domestic animal that becomes wild, eventually becoming almost a larger than life character, inspiring a rural myth of a sort.
White Fang, on the other hand, is about a wild creature that is... not domesticated, not entirely, but accepted for what it is and still made part of a family.
I think.
That's just my interpretation, based on the way I do/will write these characters, and it may turn up in a fic.
Any thoughts?
I would write about this more extensively, but I have to go finish revising for my exam this afternoon.
crapcrapcrapcrapcrap.
Nervous.
