Things I am thinking about today:
YUM cheese and pickle. Oh hell I have to come up with a term's worth of work based on a book I've not read yet. Oh hell I'm going to continue to have to do this for the rest of my life. I should really get some work done. But there's fanfic! I wish I could write some fanfic, right now.
"You may be human," John answered, a thread of steel under surface sweetness (and didn't that just make so much more sense than it didn't?), "but I have a warranty that states I'm exactly what he needs." His smile curled a little more at the edges. "Plus I'm really flexible."
John Tavener is actually a genius. This makes everything better. Except the work I should be doing...
