Things going on in the house of Nny:
Mostly not a lot besides studying, to be quite honest. I've never done the organisation thing to a great degree before so I'm working out the strategies as I go, and that takes time in and of itself. I had a visitor from my Uni to observe my lesson and it was a particularly bad lesson, as such things go. There were positive aspects and negative aspects, much of which I already know, and I was basically told that my confidence in front of the class is good but my actual lesson plans need a lot of work. I've come a way, I've got a hell of a lot further to go.
*shrugs*
At least it didn't leave me in tears, right?
I haven't yet watched the latest two SG:A episodes which is killing me - I have them but I really don't have the time to allow them the squee-recovery time I have no doubt they'll deserve. So. Today I did eat the fruit pastilles I've been taunting myself with for a while, though, so yay.
I've signed up to be an extra in some show they're going to be filming in Bath and Bristol - it's by the people who wrote Life on Mars, apparently, and is about archaeologists. It's called Bone Kickers and apparently if they want me I'll get paid roughly £40 and fed for hanging around all day and being a student. Hell, I'm practically a professional. :D
Mostly what I want right now is a day off, since days off aren't actually days off, any more. I'd like to be able to watch SG:A, do some editing, write my
sga_santa fic, but I guess that'll wait until I've a) caught up to where I should be and then b) got a little ahead.
I have to go plan a lesson now. Love to yez all. :)
