nnyI got a card with glittery pirates on from my brother. GLITTERY PIRATES! Also a couple of texts and small hug from Maggie and a random and somewhat chaotic rendition of happy birthday as my yr9 class were leaving the room after a kind of immensely awesome lesson. Oh, and facebook messages from people! So even though I haven't actually had anything but cards to open -with the living away from home thing - and even though my sims diamond is not as topped up as I'd like - through lack of hugs - not actually as bad a day as I suspected it would be.
And there may even be curry, tonight.
