Somewhat belated new years resolution:

Stop being so bloody English. I faff when I speak and express myself, to the point where my hedges outweigh my actual content at a ratio that's almost painful. It's a conflict avoidance technique, I think, but I certainly run absolutely no risk of being disagreed with if people get so lost in the spraff that they can't find my actual point. Must avoid the qualifying language and just say what I mean, which carries with it the condition that I must think enough beforehand to know that I mean what I say.

(The irony of asserting this in a sprafftastic paragraph amuses. :D)

Bizarre dreams, last night. Very hallucinogenic dream sequences - within my dream - and strange crime-fighting bits, and there were pirates. Culminated in my paying swimming pool employees, who had nicknamed me 'the Gay Shark', to make up a theme tune.

I'm having a really hard time getting to sleep at the moment, but when I get there it's worth it. :D!
