Holy wow, it are cold here. My room's in the roof and the sound of rain rattling above me is awesome and pleasing, but I suspect that I'm going to end up accidentally knocking myself out on the sloping ceiling every five minutes. My landlady/flatmate is really sweet and I think we'll get on okay - I'm going to try and be more sociable than I usually am, I think, because it's just the two of us and I need to practice this whole social interaction thing. The cat is called Pips but I have dubbed him Rodney, because he licked John Sheppard's face on the cover of my season 3 set. He's adorable and snuggly and possibly homicidal, judging by the tendency he has to sprawl in front of my feet and demand belly rubbings, regardless of whether I'm carrying hot tea or, y'know, walking down the stairs. The house here is lovely but EVER so clean - I'm hoping it was cleaned for my benefit because this all the time couldn't possibly be natural and I'm far too messy for this house.

I'm gonna get into bed and do more editation now. God, I love having a laptop. :D
