Also Brendan is way more straightforward. He's like Cordelia - he says what he thinks. John is a little harder to read, although I confess you do beautifully in ficness. ;) But yeah, gotta admit, the tie doesn't hurt. :D

A friend of mine was once in Wales and overheard two teenagers having an impassioned argument, concluded by the boy exclaiming 'But you knows I loves you, cos I shags you and buys you chips!'

This has since passed into our personal repository of catchphrases. It's practically Shakespeare.
