Dcotor update: not as hot as the last one, but still hot. I was considering moving up north, and all, but maybe I should just stay here. I has sanity inna box!

Also, unrelated, I think I might possibly have a temperature. I have a major sore throat and a lt. col. headache and a general lethargy (see what I did there? heh. Heh.) but my only way of discovering if I have a temperature is to, like, stick my face in the sink and see if the water starts steaming. Which would be, frankly, awesome, but knowing my luck I'd trip on a woodlouse and knock myself out on my toothbrush and drown improbably.

I am full of falafel and chickpeas. WHO MADE ME A HIPPY WHEN I WASN'T WATCHING?

Ooh, awesome! I have no idea yet. I want somewhere with a cathedral, that's pretty much my only requirement, 'cos I have an unhealthy crush on stained glass. Winchester cathedral is possibly my favourite place in the world and has ANTONY GORMLEY sculpture and BURNE-JONES stained glass and I FLAIL in its general direction.

Well, we have Southwell Minster (http://www.southwellminster.co.uk/), which is not at all central but is very lovely. However, we also have this bar (http://www.pitcherandpiano.com/locations/bar.cfm?area=Nottingham), in a deconsecrated church, which has some amazing stained glass and is right in the city centre. If you're ever in the area, let me know and I shall take you there for a drink :-)
