Mar. 28th, 2008 06:48 amWhat I want, still, more than anything in the world, is to find out that stories are real. I am still careful around wardrobes and watch avidly through the gaps in broken-down walls and try to spot the people from London Below on the Tube.
I haven't flung myself against the wall in Kings Cross, yet, but I take great delight in watching other people do so. XD
I make up stories about the people I see, especially if they vanish into nondescript doors or walk into blind alleys or look a little freaked out by thecrazy girl people around them. I love Torchwood because I know where the aliens are!
I don't want to grow out of this, thank you. Growing up is overrated.

Date: 2008-03-28 12:09 pm (UTC)And do people *really* throw themselves at the wall in Kings Cross? That idea amuses me *way* more than it should.

Date: 2008-03-28 12:13 pm (UTC)Everytime I see the London Eye, I think of the Doctor. And now, every time I see Queen Victoria, I think of werewolves and Torchwood.
I feel the same way about wardrobes. And we had a lamp post in our yard when I was growing up and once it snowed....well if I'd known what a hottie Mr. Tumnus was, I'd have watched longer.

Date: 2008-03-28 12:16 pm (UTC)I go even further back and pretend to be on a mission from the Famous Five when I'm on walks, and there's a Dangerous Criminal around every corner OH GOD I MUST HIDE. BY CLIMBING THIS TREE. INCONSPICUOUSLY.
