Rodney does roll awesome, even if he's also kind of an asshole. I forgive him. It's hard being the only smart one.

Except for the bit where he put a glowstick on his chest that prevented him from eating or drinking. That was not so bright.

Hee, it was indeed not so bright. Have you finished that episode, though? And the storm/the eye are half way through the first season, and shortly after them is hot zone, which is AWESOME, and letters from pegasus which kills me every time.

...I wanna watch some stargate.

Also, Rodney steadily improves his behaviour throughout with occasional relapses. It's fun!

Not quite finished it yet -- I'm watching on Toudou, which loads slowly. I actually ended up giving in and downloading the first episode from iTunes. I PAID FOR MEDIA. I FEEL KINDA FILTHY.

I'm not sure I can fic a show whose only redeeming value is a Canadian, Nny.

John's awesome too! In that way where fandom can't decide whether he's a slut, touch-phobic, a maths nerd, a sociopath... :D Also ZELENKA! ZELENKA appears in the next episode, and he's more awesome than you could possibly imagine and makes the cutest double-act with Rodney ever. And... um...

I did read one fic before watching that convinced me I should give it a go. Rodney gets youthified and is all damaged and bambi-pretty and him and John keep fighting about whether or not they should have sex.

The fic in this fandom is frequently incredible. This (http://toft-froggy.livejournal.com/190025.html) is the fic that got me into the fandom; stargate is big on the AUs, but loads of them are excellently characterised and they work really well. You should also check out Unidentified (http://fiercelydreamed.livejournal.com/8714.html) which is heartbreakingly awesome.

SGA fandom is full of incredible writers, artists and vid-type people. There's an art challenge going on at the moment at painted_spires which I am so enormously looking forward to; hope people picked up one of my prompts. :D

SGA is better than Torchwood. I'm so gonna have to say that with the London peeps, at some point, see if I get lynched. XD
