Help me, LJ, you're my only hope!

See, I'm looking for this book and I can't remember who wrote it or what it's called, and I have no idea how to find it. I thought it was by someone called Melissa somebody, but I could be wrong. It's a SciFi book, and it's about this exceedingly kick-ass space pilot, who's known to be incredibly reckless and a very talented pilot. She gets into fights a lot, I seem to remember. There's something about... a space liner type of thing, which is (I believe) going to crash into a star or some such drama. There's also a guy who has a severe inner ear problem which means he almost dies if he goes in anti-gravity, and the kickass space pilot person falls in love with him (and his kid) if I remember rightly.

I don't know it, I'm afraid, but you might try whatwasthatbook. It's a very big community so I believe posts are moderated but it should get posted within a day or two once you submit it, and people are usually really helpful and really fast over there :)
