Man, I am so behind on essay. It's due on Wednesday and I'm about halfway through the reading I need to do because I barely managed to do anything today. I'm sleeping crappily at the moment and therefore keep napping during the day, which is unhelpful but staying awake does me no better since it involves staring blankly at the laptop and whimpering about how tired I am. I don't know whether to stay awake and work now, or try to sleep and work when it's actually light outside. I suspect sleep now would be a better plan 'cos HEADACHE, but how well I'll sleep - due to stress levels - is a different matter entirely.

Meh.

I'm going to the doctor again tomorrow - Issues with meds - so hopefully that'll result in my feeling actually better. And, y'know, managing to finish the essay. :/

You know that bit in 'Tao of Rodney' where John tells Rodney to be aware of his breaths, in and out?

Try that. Close your eyes, get comfy, and focus on breathing in and out (it really helps clear your mind and relax you) It's an excellent centering technique.

Slow and deep.

(So good for many, many things...)

As someone who is intimately acquainted with stress and its demon spawn (headaches, sleep troubles, other bodily malfunctions, etc.), *offers hugs* ♥
