I was talking to a whole bunch of boys (in their twenties, yes, but still definitely boys) yesterday, and it turns out that I am, in fact, the only one without a misleading code name for their file of porn on the computer.

*giggles*

How do they *find* it again? Possibly I should see a doctor about my shit memory, if boys can retain file names and I cannot.

Ha! Out of interest, what's yours? Mine is 'Corrupt Files' - I thought that was pretty funny.

Mine's just, y'know, porn. :D No one but me uses my computer anyway, and I've already warned the blokes in the house that I don't, in fact, have any straight porn and therefore am of little use to them as a resource.

XD

I totally like your choice of name, though.

That's perfect. :D

I want to know, what were the boys's preferred file names?

Personally, mine is all mixed up, because I can't organise anything to save my life. A great deal of it is in a folder (inside the Fandom folder) labelled as being inactive fandoms, but I occasionally stumble across things in completely different places, put there either before that folder was created, in a momentary idiocy when I failed to check where something was downloading to, or... um, temporary forgetfulness that the folder existed.

When I was much younger and living at home, I named a story I was writing "Internet Setup Procedures" to avoid parental investigation. :D

Hee! That's creative. There's nothing like putting a really boring, technical-sounding name on something to keep people away. Unless, of course, you live with computer programmers...

Hee! I live with exactly the opposite. (Actually, there was a smallish risk my mum would do something, um, painful to the internet, bungle it up, and then open the file trying to fix things. Either this didn't occur to me at the time, or there was something that made it seem more unlikely to happen...)

And for my HP pr0n, it's inside the HP folder, but it's inside a separate folder labeled "HBP" (back when spoilers were an issue -- and before HBP it was named "OOTP", but I got out of the habit so it never made it to "DH" even after HBP was old news and everyone had read it.) :D
