I am so exhausted right now it's almost comical.

:D

I didn't get the job, after spending nigh on £150 on travel and accomodation, but to be honest I'm pretty glad of that. Nottinghamshire looks lovely, but Tuxford is a little too in the middle of nowhere. As much as I'd like to live in a rural setting, I have to weigh it against my reluctance to drive.

Also I was told that the student panel thought I was ace, I did well on the marking and planning exercise and I interview really well, but the lesson I planned needed to be tighter. Which was down to trying desperately to catch up on my school's planning as a priority. I told her that I hadn't thought I'd got the job, and gave her exactly the reason she gave me, and she said that I was actually a hell of a lot closer to getting the job than I apparently thought. So, y'know, that's all cool. Apart from the money.

I have so much to do that my head may fall off, but I shall do it in the morning.

Also: I have accidentally fallen in love with Philip Marlowe. I wish I still RP'd.

Philip Marlowe is my favourite fictional character ever, bar none.

The Big Sleep or Farewell, My Lovely. The Big Sleep is probably the best one because having read that, you can then watch the Bogart-Bacall film, which is excellent.

Sorry to hear about the ridiculous expense of the job interview but well done for all the lovely praise you're receiving-it's well deserved my sweet! Good night huney, sleep well

*cuddles* I'm sad you're not coming to live near me (although, to be fair, Tuxford isn't that near!), but I'm glad you got lots of praise for your interview. See? You are fab!

Think of it as an investment in interview experience. (That's what professional-types who have to travel to interviews always seem to say. Me, I'd still be sad about the monies.)

But see? You are awesome. \o/
