I find it kind of amusing that Rodney's got such a damned ugly apartment. It kinda makes me want to write a fic where John is secretly horrified by Rodney's apartment and eventually gives up on hinting and starts just wholesale moving stuff out and replacing it, with increasingly bizarre explanations.
