nny"At least tilt your head back, would you?" Rodney picked fretfully at the slit in Sir John's helm as though he could bend the denting from the latest blow back into shape with his fingers alone. "I'll not make any prize money if you're blinded, idiot."
John grinned, wide and carefree.
"I'll be careful, Rodney."
He ran a hand through the stupid hair that had never yet met a helm to defeat it, and bent to take the last piece of armour from Rodney, who scowled at the jolt in his ridiculous stomach at the glancing contact of their fingers.
(Sometimes I hate my brain. XD)
