I tripped and bought a Sheppard figure to go with my McKay. No show has prompted quite the geekish devotion of Stargate: Atlantis since X-Files, which was understandable since it was my very first fandom. And I'm not ashamed of it, either; yeah, the show has its faults, it's not like we don't recognise that. But the fannish presence makes it awesome.

I'm still in Wales, trapped by the rain, and I find myself completely unable to write for some reason. I suspect it's because I keep plugging away at the same story, and my reluctance to write both the scenes that I'm blocked on is affecting my entire writing ethic. I need to get started on some of the other things I've got lined up and come back to this later, much as I may want it done and dusted.

Also, exhaustion doesn't help so much. I feel loads better after a long night's sleep last night - seriously, the energy of small children is an absolutely terrifying thing. We only managerd to get through one round of Pass the Parcel before the kids ran off, grabbed mini-liz666's dalek costume and the sonic screwdriver and had a screaming game of Doctor Who for ages. Even listening to them was exhausting. ANYWAY I go have some sort of breakfast and make more tea now. Take care o' yersel'. aye?

I've been tempted to buy some Stargate figures, but I've had to curb my action figure habit for lack of funds.

So you know this means that pervy action figure picspam is your responsibility now, right? It's a requirement. Like a sacred trust. We're depending on you. :P
