Joe's line made him infinitely cooler in my book, and yeah, it was better because he was giving it freely, and we know he's aware of the implications, too.

And it's about time, frankly - I'm so dreadfully dull when it comes to fandom; I tend to agree with the majority so very often.

Also: what you said about Joe, that's the thing - actors do play to it and acknowledge it, and it's a nod to the fans and it makes us happy, and that's awesome. But we have to let them establish their comfort zone when it comes to stuff like that and asking for more is more likely to inconvenience us in the long run. And I sense I'm preaching to the converted here, sorry, it's just not often I get my rant on.

Wordy word word. I get the excitement, I do - I've met a couple of celebrities and it's taken every last brain cell not to come across as a total and complete asshole (at least, I hope I didn't) - but that shouldn't permit us to forget courtesy. (Oh god, another dirty word. Sorry.)
